Homemade Bloody Marys

Sad to say I knew how to make this Bloody Mary recipe long before I knew how to bake cookies. But I digress. That is a whole different kind of blog. This recipe has been handed down through generations of my family. It has a lot of flavor and just enough kick to make you remember it. With each generation, the recipe gets a little something added to it. My addition was the sprig of basil to garnish. I love the flavor a little basil adds, but I only let it steep for a few minutes before removing. This is a perfect Sunday brunch cocktail or mocktail. It’s just as delicious sans vodka.
